On December 6 2018, CNS and Cisco organized an event for the education sector. The event goal was to present the latest solutions relevant for universities and schools, that would enhance the learning experience. The focus was on cloud based solutions covering collaboration, security and mobility.
During the event, CNS delivered the importance of Cisco Security by presenting Cisco AMP and Umbrella. AMP works at the file level to prevent the initial malware execution and track file behavior over time while Umbrella prevents connections to malicious destinations and command & control callbacks at the DNS and IP layers. Together these solutions help organizations to protect against blended threats that use both email and web, and other more sophisticated techniques.
CNS and Cisco also showed the power of Cisco Webex as the leading enterprise solution for video conferencing, online meetings, screen share, and webinars.
Also, there was a session about Cisco Meraki as a powerful cloud-managed IT solution, helping organizations save time and money with a technology that simply works. With over a million active networks and counting, organizations far and wide count on Meraki to help deliver premium, reliable experiences.
